I love socks durring this time of year, and wanted to spice up and widen my elaborate collection
tie dye kit
This Tie Dye kit is available at most craft stores and it works amazing!
(I used this kit for the socks above)
In the kit there was a presoak powder to help the fabric absorb pigment.
I mixed that with warm water in the bowl.
Layout all your materials and try to be organized
I let my socks soak for about 10 minutes in the provided solution
Make sure to squeeze out ALL the liquid (as much as possible), they need to be able to absorb the dye.
Prepare your dying surface. I used the floor of the shower, and a trash bag to be EXTRA safe!
Add warm/hot water to the dye bottles, and shake well to dissolve the dye.
(be careful not to splatter yourself)
Now have FUN and apply the dye in any pattern
After letting the socks sit for 24 hours remove the rubber bands and rinse with cold water…
wash, dry, and enjoy your new socks!

My Labor day weekend consisted of yoga on the go, great food, a little shopping, and much needed beach play.
Hope everyone had a great holiday!

When I think of fall I think of knitting, apple cider, football, flannels, boots, and sweaters. Fall is my favorite season with the color changes and the coolness in the air, its a refreshing season for the earth, and for us!
Take the time to enjoy the smell, and season of Fall.

When there is no pebble tossed,
Nor wind to blow.
